Preliminary Draft Master Plan
Bankstown Airport Preliminary Draft Master Plan (PDMP) and the Preliminary Draft Airport Environment Strategy (PDAES) 2010
The purpose of the Preliminary Draft Master Plan (PDMP) and the Preliminary Draft Airport Environment Strategy (PDAES) is to summarise the planning framework for Bankstown Airport over the next 20 years and environmental targets over the next 5 years. The reviews update the 2004/05 Master Plan, as well as the goals for the Airport.
The Airports Act 1996 is the guiding legislation in the preparation and public exhibition of the PDMP and PDAES. These documents will be lodged for consideration with the Federal Minister for Infrastructure Transport Regional Development and Local Government in February 2010 as a Draft Master Plan and Draft Airport Environment Strategy.
The PDMP has been structured into three main parts to meet the requirements of the Act and our company’s vision:
Part A - Master Planning Context
- Objectives
- Consultation
- Aviation
- Non-Aviation
- Regional and Local Planning
- Surface Transport
- Utilities
- Environmental Management
