2015 Master Plan Approval
Camden Airport Limited (CAL) welcomes the decision by the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development the Hon Warren Truss MP to approve the 2015 Camden Airport Master Plan and Airport Environment Strategy. The 2015 Master Plan forms Camden Airport’s operational and development plans for the next twenty years.
CAL’s vision for the Airport is “to meet the current and future aviation needs of greater Sydney and to develop the aviation and property assets to attain appropriate sustainable value”.
CAL recognises that to deliver this strategic direction, effective master planning and public consultation is a critical function as it enables stakeholder and community input into the master plan process.
This 2015 Master Plan provides a platform for Camden Airport to achieve its economic potential and simultaneously provide for the broader interests of stakeholders and the community.
Camden Airport Limited will publish the approved 2015 Master Plan on the Airport website www.sydneymetroairport.com.au within 50 business days of Ministerial approval as required by section 86 of the ‘Airports Act 1996’.
