Sydney Metro Airports Launch New Tenant Environment Resources

Sydney Metro Airports Bankstown and Camden have launched two handbooks to assist tenants with the management of environmental issues associated with their operations at the airports. The Environment Management Tenant Information Handbook and Climate Change Tenant Information Handbook are now available to our tenants.

The Environment Management Tenant Information Handbook and Climate Change Tenant Information Handbook have been released to our tenants through the Bankstown Airport Users Environment Forum and at the upcoming Camden Airport Users Forum.

“These two booklets are delivering on the obligations we undertook in our Airport Environment Strategy, to assist our tenants to easily understand their environmental management obligations at Sydney Metro Airports Bankstown and Camden,” said Ms Desiree Lammerts, Environment Manager, Sydney Metro Airports Bankstown and Camden.

“The Environment Management Tenant Information Handbook provides an easily understood guide to what the legislation requires of operators at the airport and advice on some practical steps our tenants can take to help them to meet their obligations. To complement this handbook, we have also produced a Climate Change Handbook that contains a range of helpful hints to reduce their carbon footprint,” detailed Ms Lammerts.

“We hope this new initiative will continue to build on the partnership approach we have with our tenants in assisting them meet their environmental obligations on the Airports.

The Handbooks are available on our website for tenants to download and hard copies are available on request. Both documents are available on our new website in the Environment section - Tenant Resources.
